ok so i found a good deal on some 19's and I'm just wondering if you guys think they will be too goofy on my silver B5 even if i lower. I know i'll probably have to roll my fenders too.

19"s would be sick... they would fill your wheel wells nicely. Those wheels you are lookin at are a nice choice too.

 

19's will only be a little taller than 18s if you get 225/35R19 tires. It'll look good if it's lowered. Also remember 35 series tires are gonna have a terrible ride and will hurt your handling some.

Ive got a 2001 a42.8QM. Im rolling a set of 19"BBS CH's on 235/35 tires. I really like the way that it looks and I think that it handles pretty good. The suspension is the stock sport pkg. Ive only owned the car for 3 months so I dont know what the factory ride was like. I would show you picks but I dont know how to upload them.

 

I have 19s and am on my standard sports shocks waiting to for my coilovers to arrive though.

Then i will lower it a fair bit. Shoiuld look quite a bit better.

 

I haven't seen a set of 19's look good on a b5 yet. No offense to anyone, but I think it will just create problems for you.

 

Yeah, 19s look cartoonish, and they weigh a lot.
