Whenever I drive to or from school, 2 hours into the drive I get a "2:00hr" flashing on my display to let me know ive been driving for 2 hours. I tried to turn it off but that damn speed warning came on. The manual dosen't say anything about this. I want it back to my MPG reading (the one that changes constantly). Or should I [sm=icon_rtfm.gif] again!? thanks fellers.

 

Yep, read the manual again.

I once heard that you cant get the 2:00h thing to go away without turning the car on and off... but that is definately not the case with mine! I just hit the little toggle on the end of the stalk, and go back to mpg or whatever I want. Maybe if you hit the erase button?

my car did that to me last week... i was sitting in traffic for two hours...

but whenever i drive to NY i've clocked 12 hours on that timer thing...

 

Just hit the toggle on the end of the stalk and it will go away

 

I just punched mine in the face and it shut up. Try that out, it's always a good option haha

 

this is true

 

hit the erase/reset button once ....the one on the underside of the stalk.... that will take care of it....
