hummmmm..... whats the word I'm trying think of..... ummmm.... humm..... maybe I'll run a SEARCH for it????? lol seriously i just wrote tons on another thread titled "Mods for a 12V", but to save ya time here ya go:

these are about the only performance upgrades you can do to the 12V (If you still want to spend the money on it knowing it wont be that fast)

~lightweight flywheel (hopupracing.com, $480)
~shortshift kit (same, $180)
~k&n w/custom intake (52$)
~polished intake manifold and throttle body (free DIY pm me if ya wanna know)
~suspension: the usual Bils. and H&R (or coilover if you got the green, Sway bars front and rear, and Strut brace up front. (~$1400-$2200)
~AWEtuning Tranny brace, and APR Snub mount(~300)
~chip if ya wanna take off the speed limiter (~350)
~Cams ($800)
~Custom exhaust eliminating the pre-muffler (as i like to call it) and staying true dual the whole way out (~$200-$400)
~Tires: i like the BFgoodrich g-force KDW (~$600-$800)

Now go auto-x-ing with your savings account $4500 more empty. AND if you've got another $5K sittin around buy yourself a PES supercharger.

sothe best bet is to leave my 12v as a winter beater
and get 1.8t or even better 2.7tt.

is 2.7tt much better for power upgrades?
meaning if i can get 2.7tt s4 get it instead of 1.8t get it right?
