1.) Does using a chip in your car put extra stress on engine components resulting in more repairs ?

2.) Can you check boost with a vag-com

Ya you can log your boost with vag. You can see the requested boost from the ecu compared to what is actual. More power=more stress but a chip aint no thang buta chicken ****.

How would I do that? Is there a good step-by-step of that?
Im not great with computers, I would rather dive into the depths of my engine then a computer!

And thanks "Arif" and "BadLuckAudi" for replying to my post, I appreciate the help!!

Just get a boost gauge. Easy to install. Much easier to read than a computer.
