2002 Audi A4 1.8T questions
 

Looking at purchasing a 2002 Audi A4 1.8L Turbo, and was wondering if someone that has one could tell me what they like and dislike about it?
Hows the maitenence expenses on these? Are they fairly easy to work on?The one I'm looking at has 118K on it and has the timing belt and water pump already replaced. Appears to be a steal at $4000, when these cars typically sell for $8K. Any info about this model is much appriciated!

Wow, at 4k huh? Although you would have to factor in the timing belt, brakes, and other matainence stuff you got to do on the car. i have the same car and bought it at 94k for $7k. I love the handling and luxury of the car. But the maintenance bills you have to pay is a hefty fine.

My car is at 109k right now, and I've had problems with the wiper blade arm siezing up on me, $200-300 repair. Its a B*** taking off the arms, and I cracked my windshield by trying. :(

Then now the steering rack is leaking on me, and it will cost me $1200 to repair it.

Make sure the engine has no leaks or signs of oil coming from its gaskets.

thats a steal definatly!! i got my 01 a4 1.8t quattro for 4900 and its got alot more miles on it then the one your looking at so i would do it if i were you!!
