2002 Audi A4 Acceleration
I have a 2002 A4, 1.8t, Automatic CVT transmission, and I have been having a very annoying situation when I accelerate.
Any time I put it in Drive, it doesn't want to start pulling its self when you let off the brake, like it should, so if I start to accelerate and it doesn't start moving, it then gets a really strong jolt, and sometimes stalls the engine. But even if it does start to pull its self, it still has a little hesitation as you start to accelerate.
Getting really annoying, its mainly noticeable when I first get in the car and put in drive. I sometimes have to put it back in Neutral then back in drive to get it to pull.
Anyone know what might be causing this? Think its an easy fix maybe a sensor? Or something more serious? I do know that the transmission was recently tuned up so I don't know if its the transmission or not. Hopefully not.

This is just a guess completely, but I keep hearing the CVT trans are nothing but trouble and to steer clear. So it could be your transmission. cant base it off anything because i am not a mechanic. Your best bet would be take it to auto zone and ask them to read the codes on your car and ask for a print out. Then come post the codes and you'll get a lot more help.
