Hi all so i'm new to the form..i just purchased 2002 audi a4 1.8t quattro with only 91000 miles...all maintainance was upto date from shop timing belt/water pump all done. so the lady i bought it from said it has engine light on cause it only needs new "spark plugs" so i bought it. well i had the spark plugs replaced, all ignition coils, engine oil and some broken pcv hose..still didn't fix so i took it to the shop and they said it has low compression on cylinder 2 only 120 and all other have over 200 so they gave me a quote of $1458 to fix the engine..But i'm kinda confused because this car has great history of work done..i do notice a little lack of power but still runs pretty good. i don't feel any misfire while driving only notice it when parked. Any idea what it could be? It had multiple misfire code before but after giving it a tune up..it's only showing one code of p0302.
