Was just browsing autotrader.ca and found that car. lol

http://www.trader.ca/Search/Details....ory=&CAT=1

Thats jokes. Sellers on autotrader for some reason i find overprice the **** of the A4's. I dont know if they actually end up selling for the asking price, but you can find some 2003 A4's pushing $27,000 stock.

If you really want that car with all the mods, then I say bargain that d00d down a few thousand and go for it. Make sure you take it to a mechanic and have him check what he can around the mods and make sure **** was installed properly. Lots of wiring for those dvd players, etc.

Also, dont forget that you will need a new timing belt/pump soon, if it hasnt been done! Thats another 1000$.

yeah i dont know man!!! nice ride and all, but unless you find some 16-18 year old rich kid who wants a hooked up audiat mommy and daddy's expense, i dont think you'll get more than 16k-18k for that whip. No offense, i paid $17,900 for my 04 1.8t six-speed. No way in hell i'd pay 24 large for a older model year just for some aftermarket parts. Just my honest opinion though. Maybe take some of your parts, and sell them separate from the car and you'll get a lil closer to the money you want out of it!!! Good luck, sick car though!!!

I think some of you are getting confused. He is thinking of buying that car....not selling it lol!!! He doesnt own it, found it for sale in Ontario, Canada.

Also, those prices are Canadian $$ so if you say 17-18k max....it means like 20-21k Canadian.

You can get this on ebay for 2003 22.5k us with 37k miles on it. Its the MB Quart show car - pimped out to the max - even has a BT kit.

Actually since this is sort of on topic and might actually help this guy out:

What happens when you buy from ebay and ship to Canada?? Are there duties to pay, etc.?

Also, if you just buy private party in the states, can you just register it in canada or do you need to pay taxes?

Reason i ask, it seems that A4's are consistently 1-2k cheaper in the US than here in Canada, even after the currency conversion!

I think its a lot more than paying a tax to the state. There is a lot of red tape - or at least there is when importing a euro-spec vehicle to the US. emisson tests ect..

I guess its probably not even worth attempting then. Taxes would be more than 1k, then if u gotta run extra tests, etc. it will kill any gain. Plus, in canada the Cold Weather package is standard :P ... I want my heated seats!!!
