2007 Audi A4 2.0 Randomly doesnt start
 

Has anyone run into a problem where there 07 A$ doesnt start? Then say after a couple of hours will start again. What is the cause?

There are a lot of reasons why a car will not start. Can you give us a little more information on what you've noticed in the past? Is it really hot or cold where you live?

I have seen and heard about ignition switches going bad and becoming sensitive to cold temperatures. When it's cold, it'll take several tries to get it to start. Even batteries that aren't producing enough CCAs will eventually start giving you weird problems like this. If you have the original battery, you're way overdue.

Also.. Your not really describing the situation fully..

By "doesn't start" do you mean:
A) you turn the key and nothing happens (no lights or sounds)
B) you turn the key and the dash lights come on but when you turn it to start nothing happens
C) you turn the key and the dadh lights come on but when you turn it to start it clicks or grinds
D) you turn the key and the dash lights come on but when you turn it to start it turns over but won't start

the car willl turn over and turn over but doesnt seem to be getting a spark or fuel

Normally doesnt start when its hot

Fuel pump relay sounds like.. Getting weak.. Its under your dash
