Rock the 2.0 for life!
i think if u can make money easy then get it. if u sorta have money but sorta don't, know wut i mean? lol, then i would get one a couple years older that has those features but it's prolly hard to find.
**** that is a great deal!
I just leased a 2007 A4 2.0T MT6, Convenience, Premium, Cold Weather, Sport, Audio, Premium Paint (MSRP of $37,215) for $604/mo for 36 months with 10k miles a year ($0 drive-off). To get a 2008 with the same options PLUS nav and iPod with only $1k down and 15k miles a year is outrageous!
FYI: my money factor was .00160 (3.9%) and Audi Tier 1+ rated.
In total I paid $35,215 for the car plus $1,800 in fees (aqusition, first months payment, T&L) that were rolled into the lease. If I had put $1k down my payment would still have been $573/mo after tax.
I Just ran the lease numbers on your deal and this is what I get...
$37,000 purchase price
$1k down
54% residual (generous)
3.5% APR (.00146 money factor - generous)
36 months
7.75% tax (?)
You'd be at $595/mo after taxes with a base payment of $552. If you're getting those numbers... that is a SCREAMING DEAL. DAMNIT if I could have gotten NAV and only had to put $1k down I would have jumped on that one like white on rice.

that's a high monthly payment for a lease. you could put more down and finance it and pay a little more per month and own it at the end.

why would you want to pay $37,000 for a new A4 @ $550/month for a lease? Your money is going towards nothing...ie you won't own it unless you buy it out. Also you can get a 2006 S4 for probably $33K that still is under manufacturer warranty for another two years!
There isn't really anything special about owning an '08 A4 except for the fact that it's brand new...is that really such a great thing?
LampyB.
