I found a 2009 Audi a4 that I am interested in buying but it has high miles (120,000). Is this too many on a car for this year? Any red flags or things to look for? Do not know much about cars so any help would be appreciated.

 

My 2008 has 132k on it now so the miles wouldn't scare me. Does see a little high, but not by much. Sounds like it was getting about 25 to 30k per year (depending how long it has been on the road).

As long as the car has been taken care of and serviced there shouldn't be to many concerns. With 130k it should have had the timing belt, water pump, etc.. changed already. If it hasn't it is over due and should be done.

If it isn't a quatro then it has the CVT transmission that is not very well liked.
