I got an email from a co-worker of mine who moved to Castle Rock, Co this year. I don't think you can drive your quattor in this condition, heck, he can't even drive his lifted 4X4 bronco on his street

As much as I wish we had snow, if we had that much, my mode of transportation would be my Polaris 800 RMK (159" track)... if any of you are sledders, you'll know what I'm talking about.

And the snow in Denver is cool and all, but its making my life hell at work, because there is a lot of stuff that we ship out, or across the country or have shipped from WA to FL that of course is stuck in Denver, and we've got aircraft we can't fly untill this stuff gets there. Oh well, nothing I can do, but let Mother Nature take her course... but in the mean time it means I don't have anything to do, because theres nothing to verify, and no point in sending anything, because we know it isn't going to move untill monday anyways.

And doesn't anyone down there own a snow-plow? when theres any snow here in Billings, the Rednecks are running rampid plowing the snow off of every street and side road they can... 2 feet might be too much, but thats why they make chains, and the good ol' Cummins diesels... and for weight a 150 Gallon Diesel tank in the bed (thats what my old boss used to have). That '05 Cummins Crew Cab with a plow on the front would go through anything.

Yea, too deep in here to move around.....I was out yesterday ALL day cruising around in the snow with ease as a bunch of other people without quattro were stuck HA! Another reminder of why I bought my Audi! All was well until I got into the neighborhood last night, 18" is just a little too much for my car to romp through!

Yup, fellow sledder up here in Canada. I drive a Mountain cat 136" 1.75". We have 2-3 inches of snow right now and last year and every other year at this time we would have at least 2 feet of snow!

I came home from college for xmas and I cant even go sledding!! I pissed!!!!!

Finally supposed to get some snow here in MN. Yes, that's right, first snowfall of the year on Dec 21! I am starting to think my purchase of a Quattro has messed with the weather patterns here! I hate snow, but I wanna see what my new baby will do! Then all that fluffy white stuff can melt for all I care...

You guys are lucky! My sister and her husband were supposed to drive here for Christmas with my two nieces but they are now hoping that they can get in tomorrow instead. I guess I-70 is closed for almost 200 miles and they are hoping that it opens ups. Wierd because we usually get anything that goes through Denver but I guess this weather pattern was very odd. Have fun with that Quattro!

We had a foot of snow dump on us a couple of weeks ago and that was it. Sucks for winter this year so far.

Hey me and my buddy are stuck in Boulder right now w/ 2 ft of snow.. I actually have a question for chnaw - we had his A4 out yesterday, it's like a '97, out doin some donuts you know, car was fine - but today it won't start. Tried to jump it, no good - engine looks okay, very little snow in there. Whatre the steps we should take to find out what's up? you could just link me to something useful we can figure it out, but I dont know if there are specific conditions that would cause the car not to start because of the cold or what

thanks for the help
