I am looking to get a 02-04 Audi A4. But, I cannot decide which motor to go with (3.0 or 1.8T). I would like the triptonic tranny, and don't really care if it is AWD. I also, would like to know which is the better tuning car? I plan on doing the following mods: Intake, wheels, brake pads, and maybe a chip. I basically want to know which one is a faster car (or can be easly made a fast car). So, which motor would fit my apllication better? Thanks.

 

check the 1.8 vs 2.8 sticky at the top of the Audi A4 section page, and try using the search option next time...

3.0 comes stock with more hp but with a few easy
mods the 1.8t wiill own it, 1.8 is the better tuning platform of the

What you want is a 1.8TQM (turbo-quattro-manual). Accept no substitutes or compromises.
