RE: 300hp 1.8t??
GT2871RS from renn-art will get the job done the kit has everything you need for like $3400
|
RE: 300hp 1.8t??
it can be done, t3t4 will get u there. u will break something. engine, exhaust mani, just depends on ur car. injectors u will need 440 or 550cc depending on what the ecu is written for.

RE: 300hp 1.8t??
on the t3/t4 what ar's and trim will i need. what clutch will i need.
|
RE: 300hp 1.8t??
Jeff knows all the t3/t4 stuff but i think your gunna need probable a stage II or III clutch with that much power
|
RE: 300hp 1.8t??
u will need a stage 3 or 3+ to hold that power, and for ar's it depends on what kind of spool u want, tom has a stage 3 exhaust wheel i think and i have something simular

RE: 300hp 1.8t??
what if you have tiptronic?
|
RE: 300hp 1.8t??
With the tip your gunna want to have the level 10 kit which will run about $800 to handle that kinda hp
|
RE: 300hp 1.8t??
you can get an APr stg3 or 3+. for a more friendly price there are the ATP eliminators. Rennart sales them in a kit with injectors. MAf, everything you need.

RE: 300hp 1.8t??
ORIGINAL: BadLuckAudi GT2871RS from renn-art will get the job done the kit has everything you need for like $3400 Or the T3/T4 route, which will be cheaper, only problem is you will spend more time trying to get it tunned good since no software is specifically made for it. |
RE: 300hp 1.8t??
Yea I know it can be pieced together but i was just saying for sake of easyness lol that there is a kit
|

RE: 300hp 1.8t??
or the turbonator, check my dyno numbers in the thread a little while back ;)
|
RE: 300hp 1.8t??
Lol or a leaf blower and some NOS.... but then you would have to get a few friends to ride around under your hood all the time, they would have to be some dedicated friends lol
|
RE: 300hp 1.8t??
do a custom t3t4 kit and get lots of hp. or the leaf blower sounds like a good idea also
|

RE: 300hp 1.8t??
T3/T04E .57 Trim .63 AR w/ Stage 3 Wheel
New Manifold - ATP will do.. search on the zine for "Jeff Blaise" 550CC Injectors would do good. Adjustable FPR Oil/Coolant Lines... clamps .. hoses... Stage 3 Clutch Either maf or no maf.. but if you run software w/ a MAF .. use a VR6 MAF.. 3" .. you just need the housing Manual Boost Controler New DV ... either Baileys or Forge... Exhaust .. 2.5" Piping atleast Test pipe for better spool FMIC (Front Mount INtercooler) Intake - Custom build one for the t3/t04e new plugs .... i cant think of anything else right now.. maybe tuning.. If you want to you can go Standalone... 034 EFI Stage Ic I think will run fine... You could also do unitronics.. they can tune any ecu.. just give them your mods... its about $900 though... What did I forget... Oh yea.. blood... grease... sweat... and tears... well.... let me know if I forgot something |
RE: 300hp 1.8t??
let me know if you have any questions at all.
trust me.. piecing your kit together is not as easy as it might seem.. these cars are finicky, and have a ton of changes and versions of every part for each year.. trust me.. it can get really frustrating. read up on tom ritt's adventures when he first started messing around with his car. some of these guys really know their s*** .. seriously. they're good. they dont realize with their quick suggestions, however, that everyone is not at the same level or have as much time to play around with their cars as they do. our kits are still meant for a pro shop to install, but it can be figured out with some handy friends (search for threads on here with our turbo package)... don't attempt yourself on a weekend to get this installed, unless, of course you're a true mechanic. another reason, as well, is that we're here as support for you. with a pieced together kit, you're pretty much on your own.. except the advise from strangers on discussion forums. ;) |
