4 BEEPS?

Hi all.

Every now and then when I start my car, the alarm beeps 4 times and I have no clue what it is. No warnings and nothing comes up on my dash. This has just started happenning. Does anyone else get this from time to time?

I read this in another thread, not sure if its correct. Apparently it means the backup batteryfor the alarm is low or dead. Thats all i know.

Your owner's manual should tell you what that is but onepoint8tee is right as far as i can remember.

OK... Well my manual is in French (Damm Quebecers!!!) So my next question is, how do I replace it?

there is a way you can do it yourself. search for it. i had this problem a while; it did it for about a month and now it doesnt do it anymore. someone told me it happens more often when it is cold
