710N Installation w/ APR Chip?

I recently sent my ECU out to APR to get chipped and also ordered the 710N DV from ECS tuning. My first question is whether I should have Audi do the work, even with the chipped ECU in the car, or if i should try to find a mechanic. Does anyone know where I can find a turorial or installation guide on how to put a DV in? Also, would it be a bad idea to drive the car around for a while without the 710N valve before I get it installed?
Thanks
Joe

all driving on it will do is possibly cause the stock valve to fail. once that happens dont drive on it because you will be running rich. until then you will be ok.

There is a good explanation of how to do this on AWE.com, in the FAQ. In there it shows how to install the Bailey valve, but the procedure should be the same.
Hope this helps

To install it is very easy. Take off the skif plate underneath your car and look on the passenger side front. You will see a DV that looks like the one in your and hand and just take off and hose clamp and reverse the process.
