I have a 1998 audi a4 quattro 1.8t, I bought the car and a couple days later I rechecked the fluids and my power steering fluid was pretty much empty, and the car started making a weird (race car) type sound really loud. It makes the sound only when I'm going straight and slight right turns. When I turn left it goes away???? So I went to the audi shop and bought some mineral oil and filled it up, thinking that might help it, but it didnt, I don't know if it is the power steering pump (but idk why the sound would go away when turning left and be worse going straight) or maybe the cv joint? Any help would be appreciated!!!
