99.5 HID conversion?
I'm having some insurance work done to my car... left front passenger side deer hit.
One of the headlight assemblies has to go. Has anyone ever done an OEM HID conversion on their cars? I'm wondering what the costs involved would be. I know that you'd have to change the assembly/bulb and also install the ballast/ignitor. If anyone has further info it would be greatly appreciated. |

Yeah, I've got a similar thing going on my Supra. I'm looking for all OEM though, including the headlight assembly.

The ballast fits on the bottom side of the headlight. There is a cutout for it. The light bulbs plug into the ingitors. I'm sure it's fairly easy. You have to have a basic knowledge of electronics though.
