Default a4 1.8t vs bmw 328

Well i am still looking at the 1.8T and im getting very intrested

My friend drives a 97 328i, and ied like to beat him to tell him his 6 got beat by a 4... so im doubting stock a 1.8T could take him but what about chipped? exhaust?

I think a chipped a4 could probably run pretty even with a 90's 3 series. My friends 99 M3 does a 14.6 only...and i'd assume that is faster then just a regular 3 series

is your friends car a stick
i say a B5 1.8t chipped with an exhuast and other lil things will able to hang with a E36 328

i raced my friend wit his stock 1997 4door E36 328 and lost and i have a B6 2002 1.8T AWD

a chipped FWD might do the trick but AWD will be at a disadvantage wit the extra wieght and power loss to the wheels

my friend beat me kinda bad on the strait away
