Well he dropped the price to $6200 and he put new pads and rotors in the rear. I really like the car so I put a deposit on it and should be pickiing it up on Friday! Can't wait! I had a couple of other questions though, I read that the 99.5 is one of the better ones to get because it has the old cpu system with all the 2000+ options. Whats the advantage of the "old version?" I also drove an 01 and went alot better than the 99.5 I know it comes with 20 more hp's but damn! I would think that these would be the better ones since they come with the extra 20? Just curious though cuz I'm the happy owner of a black 99.5!!!!! Also is there a link that talks about comparing different mods? I want to do the chip, exhaust, intake, diversion valve, springs and rims. Thanks for your help!

congrats on the new ride bro. you have exactly the same car as me, nice choice.

the advantage of the 99.5 is that it has all the cosmetic upgrades of the 2000-2001 cars (headlights, taillights, non-retarded passenger mirror, climate controls, etc), while still having an AEB code engine. the AEB is most desirable for modding, because it is non-drive by wire, unlike all 2000+ 1.8T's. another advantage is the larger intake port size.

OK cool, any suggestions on springs? I see H&R's for sale alot in all the audi links, those seem to be the most popular. They come in race and sport right? One lowers the car more, does anyone have pics of there car with them?

Thats funny! Nemo I like that. I picked up the car today! Its dirty though, gonna clean it up tomorrow and I'll try to get some pics of it. My trip center display between the gauges isnt working very good. Seems like some of the bulbs are out. It works but it not clear, hard to read. Any suggestions?
