Default a4 is misfiring!!!!???

i drive 1.8t and it drives perfect but when i stop on it full way is starts to pop and its repeated like "pop pop pop" and goes and pops again...and its kinda slugish when it pops (no back pressure?)...I put in a new turbo so its not my turbo ( on stock boost)...i have a 3inch turbo back exhaust...i dont no wat tha problem is...my mechanic said his EVO did tha same something about tha computer throwing codes...i dont no if its hardware or software..but i'm going to get my buddies car comp and reset tha codes...maybe its that..or it mightbe tha wastegate hose i jerryrigged my self i dont think so but just throwing that in tha mix

With a three inch turbo back exhaust, with no catalytic converter, you are going to have little back pressure and you will have little torque until the turbo kicks in.

Sounks like you are running rich.

check for codes

Just checkin' but you updated the ECU when you did the turbo yeah? You didn't just throw in a huge turbo and drive off into the sunset?
