Default a4 question

after my recent audi purchase, lot of family members are starting to like audis and going away from the import scene. bascially wanna kno if there is any issues with 2001+ a4's. theres a nice one for sale, lady drivin, full audi history, 2 sets of wheels, 55 kms, with factory warrenty. its for my aunt, its the 1.8t, fully loaded, private deal, for like 19,9.. right in their price range. since i dont kno a whole lot bout the a4's, is there any issues in that year?

Bents right, this is primarly a b5 forum and now were getting a few b7s, people just do not like those ugly heavy *** b6s.

yeah, 01 is the last of the b5's... you said 2001+ though... so yeah, a 2001 is b5, 170 horsepower, 20 more than all the other 1.8t's prior to 2001. I'd say with 55K, all service records included, certified and e-tested, not a bad deal. I'd go there with around 18500 in my hand, they'd more than likely take it, if they knew they could have it NOW. people are impulsive like that

no known problems for the 2001... timing belt is expensive, as it is in all years... did control arms still strike in 2001 guys?

Audiboy....take this for ***! BTW it's not chrome in the border of the tailights! and S4 glued with crazy glue, still haven't gotten the ***** to start messing around with it yet.

Bent....eventhough your riding in a b5, there's still love for you man!
