About to purchase the Ultimate Timing belt kit from ECS.

Here's the link, Im sure lots have seen and got it.. I was wondering before I make this purchase if anyone has anything bad to say about it, or if there's a better deal somewhere else? Thanks. Also, Im going to order the snub now too, should I get APR or something else?

Dieselgeek is a little cheaper and just as good: http://www.dieselgeek.com/18belts.php

Only complaint I have was that it came with 2 belts I didn't need (water pump belt & accessory belt). Check make sure you need all the belts listed in the component list. You could save yourself about $40 bucks if you don't need them all. Since the water pump on my '01 is turned by the timing belt it I don't know why they sent a water pump belt. I don't know what the accessory belt is for.

I have the APR snub and it increase the idle vibration a good bit. I hear that the dieselgeek snub is a little softer and feels smoother at idle but sense it is the same size as the APR snub it gives the better throttle response like the APR. I think the dieselgeek snub is the stock snub mount on the GTI.

No complaints at all with the kit. I used all the belts. At the same time I was doing this I put in the APR snub mount and what a difference it made. I replaced my TB at almost 100,000 miles. I know lucky I made it that far being it was so far stretched. The job took me 6 hours to do.
