Default ABS Sensor ON + BRAKE Flashing

Hello guys, my 1999 Audi A4 1.8T Fwd has some issues. The ABS (orange light) is ON and the Parking BRAKE (red light) is flashing. When I start the car, it gives 3 beeps as well. There is no braking problem at all. I got a code tester from Ebay that has ABS fault reader but shows "Linking Error". How canI check if it's the ABS module that's not working? What could it be? Does anyone same problems as well? Please Help!

It's your abs module. You can pull the module and send it in to have it rebuilt for about $140 with a 5 day turn around. I'm doing the same thing. I can't remeber the names of the places but I'm sure somebody will chime in.

Thanks for the response guys. The module is really my best bet but I also want to be sure so how can we test the module? I don't have a real VAG COM so if anyone has one and willing to help me, I would appreciate it. I'm in LA. Thanks.

What if you have bad brakes and the sensors are going off? Will you have to change the sensor as well as the brakes?? Because my brakes are bad and the sensor is driving me nuts.. I believe its just my rear that needs to be changed

could anyone tell me where the abs module is located?

also anyone know where i can buy a cheap scanner that would actually work, i got burned by some dealershp that took 80$ for me and just told me my abs module was broken, then again, when i told my teacher this he told me theres 3 different kinds of things, but i forgot them, since the scanner gives you a code if the thing is messed up, if a wire is short, as in it got cut somehow, or a touch thing, so anyone know where i can get a scanner ?

There is no sensor for the rear brakes.
