All,
i just got a 1998 A4 and the brake pedal kicks off when I'm almost stopped, but no other time. I just got the car and my first suspicion is that it could be the tires since the fronts are quite worn wheras the rears are still pretty healthy. I know this systems can be sensitive to different tire sizes. Is there anything else it could be? Alll the pads look good etc and the fluid is full. Just to reiterate, this only happens when the car is just about to stop.
