air bag light

Default air bag light

i disconnected my gauges to fix my check engine bulb now the air bag lights on and it want till i dissconnected the lights on the gauges how do i get rid of it?

You need a VAG COM or VAS factory scan tool to erase the memory of module 15 (air bag control unit) you tripped the spiral clock spring air bag (driver's side)

now its goes off after i get rooling like 2 min into driving it will shut off

When you turn the steering wheel the light will turn off more likely. It will still come on until you erase the fault code. If the code still comes on after you erased it post the code, there may be an easy fix for it.

it doesnt throw a code the light juststays on till i start moving its weird didnt do that before till i disconnected the gauges im gonna ask afriend with all the scanners and crap to get rid of it or fix it for me cause i only have obd2

Considering there isn't an OBD 3 yet i would hope he could erase it for you LOL!
