airbag light?

Default airbag light?

ok so my airbag light comes on and stays on in the manual it says i should have it check by the dealer. now will this cause the airbags to just explode at any second or what? and is this type of stuff coverd under warrenty?
or can i just like reset the ecu and see if it gose away. any 1 else have this happen to them?

My advice is to take it to the dealer. They can locate the issue and maybe lubricate the connection. That $59 service worked for me for a couple of months. The dealer then had to replace about 4 wires for another charge of $190 + $24 for parts. Don't mess with it yourself. If you set off the bag it will me mucho $$$. If you are still under warranty they'll take care of it for $0.

while the SRS light is on the system is disarmed so nothing is going to happen like the airbags exploding just take it in to any garage that's equipped with the diagnostics to check the system and reset the light, if you feel they are trying one on you get the code and relay it back here we have all the codes so we can cross reference the fault

ok now i just need to find a mechanic. im just relived it isnt going to blow in my face while crusing down the highway.
