Review: i owned an audi A4 for several very expensive years. baddest car i have ever owned and i have owned a lot. not dependable and constantly in the shop. most expensive repairs. audi never stood behind the car. all was the fault of the american driver. if audi were to give me 50% off on a new car, i would not touch it. fun when it ran but, all-in-all the worst experience i have ever had with a car. overpriced to start, and dealing with audi brings to mind the **** era.

What you see above is the reason some people hate Audis. He looks to have had some transmission problems and that soured his opinion on the vehicle. Everything else looks pretty good doesn't it? Some dumba$$ who took it to the dealer for every clink and clunk.
1) Take care of your car. And if you can't or won't, don't bitch when it falls apart.
2) Learn to work on your car yourself. If you can't don't cry about the cost. That's why we call them "stealerships" Cars in general cost money to maintain. When I had my Landcruiser, I always thought to myself, "I am more than happy to replace my $80 (insert part here) every 200,000 miles instead of a $25 part on a (insert domestic 4x4 here) every 50,000 miles."
3) Equating an Audi with the *****? That is a low blow. Sure, Hitler gave us the Volkswagen, now the parent company of Audi, but cars don't kill millions of innocent people. And I have never felt the urge to goose-step every time I get out of my car.
4) Wouldn't take an Audi if given 50% off? Must have had brain damage.
Just my $.02

Agreed. Every car regardless of manufacture will have its share of problems, Audi isn't excluded from having lemons. The people who make comments like that are not smart enough to realize this. Plus they have zero mechanical knowledge so they run to the stealerships for every little thing. Or they expect the car to work in a state of utopia while they ignorantly neglect maintenance. Anyone who says Audis suck don't deserve to own one. Paraphrasing a statement from someone on AF: Audis are like great women, treat them right and they'll take care of you and give you the time of your life. As well as save your dumbass when you drive like a retard (I added that part).
-I must say another big reason why people will say Audis suck is because Audi's customer service/PR is atrocious. But thats just my $.02

the part that they think that affording a car in the class of audi/merc/bmw, type, and that its not gonna cost something to have a nice car is obserd. what did they think they were buying, a nice honda.
Yeah, people need to take care of their car and learn how to save money by doing a little DIY stuff. Wasnt Auto Union shut down during WW2 unlike BMW which was building their planes and Mercedes which was building their ovens? Audi is the least associated with the ***** of the german car companies. The guy who wrote thge article blows
The majority of bad reviews about Audis are from people who only know to take their car to the dealer for service. Ignorance is bliss until you get a bill from the Audi service department.

IT DONT MATTER WTF DOES ANYONE SAYS YOU BUY A USED CAR, ITS LIKE GAMBLING, BUY IT BRAND NEW THEN TAKE CARE OF IT, THEN TALK.....
IF YOU DONT LIKE THE CAR THEN GO GET A HYUNDAI THEY SHOULD TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOU

Ok guys. I know this is a Audi forum but I have to agree with some of the guys points. My local Audi stealership has not stood behind my car or the shoddy work that they have completed on it. My A6 has been in the shop more times than any other vehicle I have owned. The better the vehicle, the less it should be in the shop and it's crazy to hear people talk about how someone should buy a Honda if they don't want to pay to have their Audi serviced. My Accord was 20 grand less than my A6, had it for years and not one problem ever came up with it. So, what is wrong with that? I love my A6 and wouldn't trade it for anything but Audi does need to learn how to utilize customer service. I don't even want to bring up the problems with the new RS4. I'd be pissed if I paid that kind of money and had to deal with some of the crap that I have heard. We drive fun cars but it takes an awful lot to keep them on the road. Being a luxury vehicle doesn't make it right though.
Jeeze. When are you people going to learn that I do love my Audi. I just can’t take someone saying they perform better than other cars when they done. PERIOD, they just don’t! I mean they’re works of art, I would never disagree with that, their styling is untouched by any in my opionion, but come on….we all know our cars, new or used, have more then their fair share of problems. But ill pay for it cause I do love the car (except for that pesky short geared transmission….damn you audi !! WHY!??! WHY DID YOU DO IT!?!? ).
