Alternator Filter
Anyone heard of Alternator Filters... ?
I am getting a weak whinning sound from my sound system on High RPMs.
One of the sound shop guy told me that an Alternator Filter should fix it.
I'm not sure what it is.
If anyone here has done that, I wanted to know how much its gonna cost me, or if it is something simple I may be able to do it myself.
Appreciate that. Thanks.

alternator whine is a common interference after installing a system. i just installed a sub and amp and i got HORRIBLE interference. you need a ground loop isolator. stinger makes a good one, but i'm sure one of the cheaper ones would do just fine. they are all over the net and ebay for 10-20 bucks. you plug your RCAs into the isolator, then plug the isolator into your amp. it's very easy to do yourself

Thanks for the tip though. I can pick it up from Radio shack tommorow, if I can understand where to connect it. I dont think we have amps in OEM Symphonies.
