Thanks for the heads up, my suspicions told me to run it by the forum before I commtted funds to the idea, and its a good thing I did. I'm liking the ExoticWoodDash.com option - how much should I expect to spend to have them coat my existing trim?

Eeeewwww! I almost vomited on my keyboard [:'(]

What about the OEM aluminum trim? Does anyone other than Audi (and even then maybe not?) sell it? Car-part.com is a crap shoot as far as finding something, and ebay is pretty much completely worthless. I think I would be happiest with that if I could find it somewhere (anyone have some they want to get rid of?).

when they coat , it wont peal. I am figuring probably about a G to do all the accents in the car. Youn dont do everything just everyhing that is like hard plastic. around door handles, around shifter, around radio and ac, arounf cupholders, and around the pices that are usally silver or are usally wood trim. thats it I am taking pics of that GTI today. keep in mind they coat it with REAL carbon fiber. But that GTI interios will sell anyone. they even did the rearview mirrir caps eyelids and solid blask pices on the doors between the front and back windows. SHARP!!! they said it was about a G not bad for the amount of crap covered. they even had some ont her steering wheel.
