amber inserts

Has anyone tried taking out the amber inserts on 1 piece b5 headlights? I was trying to do it tonight, not having much success. There was a tutorial on audiworld for a b6, but doesn't seem to be helping me much. If anyone has done this and could offer help I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

What about the 97 split lights? Is that done similar or is there another write up for those?

peteman, you can buy clear corners for the two-piece headlamps separately, but i don't recommend it. it looks ricey. the best thing to do is convert to the one-piece, they're MUCH better....you can find the clear corners for the two-piece headlights on ebay for ~30 bucks...

yes you can....if you want to convert to one-piece headlights, there is some fender modification involved, but nothing too major....if you want to stick with the two-piece guys, i have some e-code two-piece headlights i can sell you...

ok cool. Im gonna look into a DIY for the splits and see how they look. Then ill get back to you about the 2 piece e-codes. In the mean time if anyone is familiar with a DIY for the splits please post.
