amber light

Default amber light

Hey guy just wondering what the amber light that came on that looks like an O with little dots on both sides is , and does it have anything to do with the abs brake cuz it just started flashing too.???? its and A4 '99. Sorry don;t have the manual to look up or vag so hopping for some input.Thanks

Do yourself a big favor and buy the owner's manual--it's only $30 from the Audi website. Although no Bentley manual, you stand to learn a lot from it! I'm not that good with all of the warning lights on the instrument cluster, but if I recall correctly, that amber "O" with little dots on both sides is your brake system sensor (brake pads worn). It would make sense that your ABS light would also be affected.

Do yourself a bigger favor and get those brakes checked!!!

Seriously, spend the dough for a new owner's manual. If anything, it's always more impressive when/ if you decide to sell your car.

Yes deffinitly if you bought your car from the dealer go back and bitch saying you want one, if not buy one and get the bently manual and a vag com or a ODBII

that light usually means that your front brake pads are worn.
