antenna radio
Well i have noticed that when i play Fm stations with my stock head unit i get horrible reception. In my other cars my reception was great for the same location and same station is it cause there is no visible antenna? is there a way to fix this?

RE: antenna radio
Haha the antenna is the top three wires on your rear window - they look like defrost lines. Are your windows tinted? I've heard that certain kinds of tint film can interfere with reception.

RE: antenna radio
yep just got them tinted but this was happining before the tint to.

RE: antenna radio
In my car, having the rear defrost on causes interference that kills my in glass antenna. My rear defrost button is literally an on/off switch for FM radio reception.

RE: antenna radio
This is a common problem. Search. In short, it's the diversity antenna or antenna booster or whatever. In my B6, it's drivers side above rear window and it's cracked. Replace and it should be OK. It's etiher that or some other kind of thing behind the head unit. I forget. A search will tell.
