Default b5 1.8t fwd, no rear toe adjustment WTF!!!

so i had noticed a slight humming from the rear of the car over the last couple of months. though it may have been a wheel bearing on the way out until i had a wheel alignment balance and rotation today. now the humming is coming from the front. took it back to the shop and turns out that there has been some scolloping of the inside of the rear tyres which is causing the hum which are now on the front. turns out the toe is at a combined amount of posative 6mm at the rear (rear wheels are turned out) and that there is no adjustment to bring them back into line!!!! this is extremely poor of audi not to have any adjustment. im running 19s with 35 series tyres at the standard height, and after closer inspection of the old tyres they are the same.
does anyone know of a solution for this or had this problem?
cheers

Best of my knowledge is that Audi did this so that it handles better for turning and what not. I just took mine in to get aligned and ran into the same thing, it couldn't be adjusted enough. They got it to 1.25 I think, and I agree, it sucks. I just rotate my tires in an X then Same Side rotation schedule.

yeah front track is great isn't it. no alingnment stuff for the rear. but just think youdon't need a rear sway bar either.

I had this wear drifting feeling every time I'd hit a bump in my b5 fwd and u could actually see the toe in
where the Bushing mounts to is a plate with 4 16mm or 5/8 bolts i loosen them up pulled wheel back and voila lol
u can tell that it's straighter but ill find out in the morning how it handles but if i would force it more or make holes bigger it will get more adjustment
