I'm just curious what the results are for any of you who have raced one.

I'm APR tuned w/ what they claim of 206 hp and 246trq, whereas a stock V6 2005 mustang is 210hp and 240trq, and suprisingly a few pounds lighter.

My car is a manual, his was an auto. the results were not consistent, but i didn't win every time. We raced from 40 upwards.

... legally, on a closed course with professionals and medics on hand

V6 Mustangs are the b*st*rd of the Mustang family. You could say they are a disgrace to a true muscle car. Junk.

don't know what year it was, but i whopped a V6 'stang on the PA turnpike a while ago.
i actually posted the kil story on here, so if you search enough, you could proboly find it..

30 sec. run-down of the race though...
me, slow lane. stang (convert. w/ g/f in pass seat) passes, looks @ me, revs engine & smiles
i pull into left lane on his a$$
within 10 sec. i was 4 car lengths in front of him and hopefully embarrased him in front of his g/f in the pass. seat (rev. your engine @ me pu$$y !!)

i'm no pro but i know how to run that thing through the gears. I've race a vert 350z and took it. but this damn 05 mustang was really about even with me, maybe a tiny bit slower, maybe a tiny bit faster.
