but its still not a disgrace...it would be if ford advertised it as muscle. The worst thing that I hate with a passion is modded v6 stangs with dual exhaust, and other mods. Hell Ive even seen v6s that were identical to a v8 in looks but you can hear the v6 is different the a v8. My brother in laws GF's dad mods his daughters v6 stang and he did chip, CAI, full dual exhaust and he said to me it almost feels like a v8. Well dam for all that money you could have ahd a friggen v8!!! Thats what I hate the most...

definitel agree with that. ive seen v6's with dual pipes that sorta stick out under the bumber bc there arent slots for them and with gt or cobra wheels on and the kids drivin them think theyve got somethin special...

Octane consumption? i must know why you even entertained a mustang of new. your car makes more of a statement sitting in a parking lot than his can on the strip. don't belittle yourself with him, man.

A 2005 v6 coupe would be hard to beat in a chipped a4 trust me. The times may be close but the stang is a hair faster. Dont be sad cause its true.

I rode in the mustang too, I wasn't 'impressed' but wasnt dissapointed either.

no they are putting almost as much hp down as a pre MAF 5.0 mustang. The feeling you felt may not be impressive as a whole, but take things with a grain of salt....its a v6 stang and you werent dissapointed. That should equal impressed for a car not being associated with performance at all. my.02cents

Have yet to race a fast mustang, even slightly modded 05 gt models, just too much weight...my buddy has a cobra model but doesn't have the cajones to put it next to me. Of course, this racing doesn't take place in the Audi..

With driving my mustang and now my audi I can tell than my audi is actually quicker, or at least it feels like it, but my mustang is old so it could just be the nice tight ride of the audi

all of you claiming the 4.0 v6 feels like a fox body 5.0 are WRONG!!! it may be as fast as one in the 1/4. but in no way does it feel like it. i had an 88 speed density 5.0 and that thing stock will put you back in your seat through 2nd gear. its called TORQUE! which the v6 lacks.
