115k on my 12v before it hydrolocked & bit the dust

 

161k on the 1.8T, few minor problems.

 

197K on the 12v, some minor issues

 

154,000 mi, 1998.5 1.8T Q Tip

No major problems yet, do have to get those rear bearings replaced tho (have the parts, need labor), so farI've replaced T-belt (updated tensioners),water pump,Coolant sensor, control arms. No mods.

 

Oh boy, I feel like this is the death thread to all these cars... I read it and am thinking to myself that every one of you who have posted better be knocking on wood reallll good. Cool to see all these high mileage cars though. Hope mine lasts this long too! *knocks on wood*

 

+1 on that, I have 130K on mine no problems except doing the maitenance the previous owner didn't do.

 

mileage is immaterial but service/maintenance is so 500k is nothing if it was dealt with correctly and in most cases the engine and components have been replaced ( any good owner keeps receipts ) warrantyworthless

 

105k on mine,
no major problems, small stupid stuff sometimes,

 

friend had a 12v running great at 212 but he neglected the timing belt and BAM.
