Anybody every notice there a/c blower get louder?
 

I have noticed the past couple of days or so and I'm not sure if that puppy is about to die on me or if it's working harder. Anyone have any ideas?

Damn, where are you at that you need the A/C? Its still snowing here in Ohio.

Are you referring to the fan in the cabin, or the actual a/c compressor itself?

Florida man, it's hot!

It's the fan where air is pulled thru the cabin filter.

Yeah... this Ohio weather is whack! It was 80 degrees and sunny not even two weeks ago and now this! It's been snowing the last 4 days. My blower motor sometimes jumps up to a higher speed without me changing the fan setting. I leave my climate control on Auto all the time. The first time it did that I freaked and thought something broke and that I was gonna have a big repair bill. Now I don't even notice it. It does it when the A/C is on as well. I wouldn't worry about it.

The fan is on thermostat and varies in speed to keep the cabin temp at the desired setting when set to automatic. I know the older ones also wore out quicker cause they run constantly. I replaced one in my 5000S and in the 200 I have.

I know the blower speed varies with the temp, but I think what he's talking about is that the fan suddenly spiked in rpm. Mine has done that a couple of times for no apparent reason. It freaked me out at first, but I figure if it's gonna break, oh well, there's nothing I can do about it except drive it until it does and then deal with it.

My AC is very loud, believe the actaully fans just run that way

i cant remeber the las time i used ac in my car... i NEVER use it... even wen i was in desert hot springs cali... 114degrees. nope. dat sh!t dont even work nemore.
