you should buy the RossTech cable. The ebay one only works with the older software version.

I bought a ebay vag-com last week for $54 + 15 shipping that I should get tomorrow and i'll let u know. The guy I bought it from has 235 - 100% feedback all from vag-com cables so I hope it works. Some of the people that left him feedback said it works great with ross-tech 4.09. What is current version? Will it matter what version for a 99 A4?
