Default Is anyone using a cutout

Exhaust? I am new to audi's but am an old mustang guy and cutouts seem to be cheap ways to horsepower esp. in turbo cars.

Thanks.

Heehee! ^^^

Yeah, I'm going to be running a cutout with a mechanical remote, probably coming up somewhere near the shifter.

You use a cutout when you want to bypass your mufflers for race purposes, but still have them on your car for every day street use. Sometimes they have a remote (mechanical or electric) so you don't have to get underneath the car to open it up.

Sure I'm going to get one, I race my car. I couldn't stand owning a car like that and just using it to drive around town and take ricers at signals. The less restrictive the exhaust is the better it is, and I think I'm going to put the cut out where my mid muffler used to be since there is a lot of room and heat shielding there.
