APR/GIAC causes clutch slippage
Audizine has some group buy on a creative autoworks test pipe/cat delete, anyhow they recommend the REVO chip cause they sell it but i only have GIAC and APR around me, and of those they recommended APR but anyhow i have been reading that some people have clutch slippage right after getting chipped while others dont have any? i am planning on running the APR 93 program with the test pipe. 2004 ultrasport with 47,000 miles..
what do u guys think?

yeah, i just dont want to do something that will cause the clutch to go out in 5-10k miles, if it should still make it to 100k, thats allright...
whats a good aftermarket clutch run anyway? installed

i'm not sure how long the clutch will last, i think i replaced mine shortly after but it could've been from wear and tear of the previous owner (bought the car used with 20k miles).
i personally run a Neuspeed clutch but I haven't heard much about it (dad installed it while I was at school). I'm happy with the setup. But it seems that Southbend clutches are very popular though.

dont worry about your clutch from a chip... i mean with any power upgrade you are going to have problems..
it has many factors... age of clutch, driving characterisics, things like that....
just chip it, get the test pipe, and call it a day.
Quattros burn up clutches, FWD's burn up tires.
