Default attaching front license plate?

Today I got pulled over and ticketed for not having a front license plate... apparently it's a law in Washington State to have one.I told the cop there isn't anywhere to attach it, but he was being an *** and didn't give me a break. Anyone know how to attach a license plate mount on a'98 A4,without having to take it into a shop? Or if someone knows a way around this law... that would be helpful too...

You don't have holes for mounting screws?

Usually there is a plastic piece to mount to the front of your car if needed(supplied from Audi). Thank God, in FL it's not required to have a plate in the front, but my plastic frame thing was in the trunk wrapped in plastic(never used).

My car is an 04 1.8 - I'm sure mine will fit on your car-Email me if you want my plate holder.

The sh!tty thing about that whole thing is that you would have to use self tapping screws into your bumper to mount a tag or the plastic tag holder.

If you want to risk losing a plate...you could clean the surface REALLY GOOD with some alcohol and use 3M double sided tape.
