What the difference and how do I kno wat I have

 

It's stamped right on the head, and the ATW engine was in 2000+ 1.8T's, came with a bit more horsepower, internal water pump, and was DBW. Sadly, none of that is going to be able to help you create a coherent sentence.

 

wrong engins. The ATW was only in the 2000 and it the least desired engine. The AEB has a large port head and DBC and the ATW has a DBW, map sensorand small port head. Both use the same blocks. The AWM uses a differnt block with internal wp and comes with a wbo2 sensor and larger ecu memory.

 

so with an ATW engine, I could make how much more (%)HP with an AEB cylinder head than the ATW head?

 

it all depends on the previous hp. Most with a ~400fwhp see another 25whp give or take just about the entire boost curve.

 

So that's about 6% for a FWD, so I'm guessing 3-4% hp increase on a quattro then.

 

there abouts. Not sure how well the % would hold throughout the hp levels.
