Hi guys i have an audi a4 2003 3.0 quattro, i want to lower my car by about 1 inch in the front and 0.7 in the back, ive been told that if i change just the springs i will have to replace the shocks in about 5 k miles. So im thinking of getting a full kit. I dont really race that much but i want it to be a little bit stiffer but not like im riding in a car with square wheels and feel everything single bump. Any recommendations on what brand should i get and what do i have to do? Maybe theres something else i have to change?

well do you want coilovers? they are adjustable or a shock/spring combo that is not adjustable but is cheeper?

 

yea thats what im looking for, but i thought since i have a german car, then to get some german suspension?

Lol i dont know if its german but it sounds funny, there the Tein brand thats pretty damn good

 

i was told that bilstein is good, but damn its expensive! like $1700, thats way too much than i was planning to spend. i was thinking somewhere between $600-$800

 

yea bilstein is great but you can find stuff for much less i think

 

any recommendations on place that dont rip you off?

 

get the teins. i know alot of b7 guys are putting them on and nothing but love.
