Audi A4 headlight conversion/upgrade!!??
 

Alright, I need to get a straight answer on this! I've been searching and keep finding opposing answers to this seemingly straightforward question: Is a 1998 audi headlight compatible with a 2001 audi headlight for UPGRADE (i.e. in place of two pieces goes 1 piece)! Or do only certain aftermarket kits satisfy 96-01 fitment????? ONLY ANSWER IF YOU KNOW FOR SURE. Thanks in advance for the help!!!!!

As long as you're willing to trim your fender, then yes. Either a 99.5 and up headlight or a european spec unit will pop right in after some modification with a sawz-all or a dremel or something.

how severe of modification are you talking here??? Like some majorly noticeable stuff or just something quick and easy?????

One piece headlights require fender trimming and a new plug to be wired in. It sounds like a lot of work, but the one piece light is far superior to any two piece aftermarket light. Ecodes are even better - I'll leave it up to you to search what those are.
