Hello everyone! I am a proud new 1999 A4 Avant owner! I had a quick question. Can you roll up the windows with the alarm remote?? Thanks for the help.

yup you just need a vagcom to do it. but you can roll them up and down by inserting the key in the door and holding it in the unlock or lock position

 

Vagcom, hmmm. So is there procedure for using the vagcom to allow the remote to do it. I've seen some flash tools that are made for vw's, are there any such devices for fixing this. I really want to make the remote roll up the windows when I arm the alarm. Any help would be appreciated.

find someone in your area with a vagcom.. or go to the dealer and pay them about $100

but its worth the time! i finally did it a few months ago! before even with the keys, people were impressed....now im like a magician, people are amazed
