i autocross and track the car. i ran KW V1 coilovers on the street for two summers. if they are too low they get harsh but any suspension does that. i ran them with H-Sport sway bars. these are the best available. also had replacement "upgraded" control arms and HD tie rod ends. the sway bars are the big thing. they help you tune for the course and will compliment any suspension setup. depending on your courses, you could go anywhere from a stock sport suspension to a set of stasis motorsports. if you want to excel at autox and track days then this may help: sport springs on good struts or coilovers set no more than 1" lower than stock sport. any lower and you increase the body roll more than you benefit from the lowered center of gravity. K-MAC camber bushings to get you the camber you need at that ride height. -2.0 on street tires, -3.0 on track tires. a set of aggressive brake pads with good initial bite. 235/40-17 Toyo RA-1 tires on lightweight wheels with et35 offset. there you go. knock yourself out. |

these pics are on stock suspension with the H-sport sway bars installed. the rear bar was set on soft. notice the pronounced brake dive. this shows that the stock stuff isn't up to the task. now look at how little body roll there is. the sways really helped out here. this track day was run on street tires. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...ngforturn1.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...doubleapex.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...doubleapex.jpg |
