330's are heavy *** cars. my friend has one. arent real fast. but i dont think a a4 could take it either. sadly enough.

 

a 330 with just a chip no I couldn't see it but a 328 againist a chipped a4 that is a race i would like to see

 

well when i had my 96 2.8 andm y friend bought a 2002 325I and me and him raced off the light i spanked him his was manual and my was automatic, i took him at start, then we were on highway doing bout 55 and started racing he took me by like 2 feet, i dont know if it was him or the car, but i was right there with him thr whole time, now he has a 2003 VW 1.8t and when i bought my 01' a4 he didnt want to race because he said he was scared he was going to lose, and he had few things done to it, so i dont know

 

it would be him. unless he's a pro shifter, he won't be shifting faster than an auto can. 325 vs 2,8 should have been BMWs, but i was talking 1.8T vs any 3 series. 325 is the only thing close to touchable with a chipped a4 IMO, so he should have taken you. id be careful though, his VW will take you too

 

You gotta give Audi more credit

 

1.8 T's may be slower than a 325i but you have to take into consideration the extra weight of the four wheel drive.What would be quicker the 1.8T or a 325xi? The 3.0 is slower than a 330i by .2 seconds but again the 3.0 has the extra weight of the all wheel drive. Now im not sure about this but I believe that 0 - 60 on a manual 330xi is 7.2 , 0 - 60 on a manual 3.0 is 6.9, so maybe Audi does have the advantage.
