hey a4tuner i have a 96 2.8 as well. can you explain exactly which wires you spliced together to mod the brakes like that? also is it true you dont need to put in any bulbs or any sockets, that everything needed is already there?

I have dual rear fog lights. I totally go faster, now. They are like, afterburners!

i cant remember the wire colours but if im thinking correct there 5 wires right? you want to cut wire 2 and 4 (fog and brake bulb) and put another wire acorros them to link them.
this way theres no need to solder anything and your fog lights come on only with the brakes applied.
there should already be a bulb on the drivers side fog light, you can take it into autozone (or simalar) and they'll match it for you. $3.00 or somehting for a 2 pack. you will need to cut a whole in the passenger rear light for the fog light that side since the whole isnt cut out. you will see where the fog light bulb is ment to go when you look at the housing.
just cut the whole in the passenger rear light where the fog light bulb goes, put your new bulb in, put a wire between wire 2 and 4 and press your brakes. i only needed to connect wire 2 and 4 on one rear light and the other side works aswell.

a hint, NEVER press the rear fog light switch on your dash with this mod, if you do you'll blow your 10amp fuse (number 45 i think) which will stop all your rear lights working and you wont be able to get out of park if your car is an automatic gearbox.

hope it helps

I did that on my old 12v (as you can see in my avatar)

Never had any fuses blow though. I thought it was a pretty cool mod (certainly makes your car stand out), but I certainly wont be doing on my new ecode tail lights. I figure they are already unique enough b/c they flash amber.

i dont get it becuase my reareom's are amber indicators. i prefer the amber to the red indicators by a long shot.
