OK - I'm doing my TB this weekend - well actually right now - been trying to get the damn bumper off for over an hour now - damn thing will not come off - I have the timing belt DIY and all it says is pull down then up - I know its a finesse thing but this is ridiculous - can someone give me a better hint than that.\

If all the screws and bolts are off just put some stank on it. (by stank I mean muscle) Dont be scared to yank on it.

 

I just did mine last week and it took me a few ours and a post here to figure it out too. But all you need to do is get the Screws out in the fender wall on both sides. Then pull up and out on each end of the fender. the fender will kinda pop out. Then take out your Lower grille or Foglight holders and there is a bolt on either side. It doesent look like it would work but the bumper on our cars is connected to the iron bumper behind it with rivets. So you need to take thoes out and the bumper will slide off the posts.
